Digital music
Music that is published online without being released on vinyl, CD or tape is also covered by legal deposit. We handle the collection and preservation of both physical and digital cultural heritage.
We automatically receive most Danish music that is distributed to Danish music streaming services. If you have released the music to several or all of these in Denmark, for example YouSee Musik, you do not need to upload the releases to us.
If this is not the case, we encourage all record companies, musicians and others associated with digital music releases to submit a copy to us. This will help us preserve the digital cultural heritage. You submit by using the upload function on this page.
If you have material for legal deposit that you cannot upload here, for example magazines, audiobooks or podcasts, you are very welcome to contact us .
