Music recordings in the Queen's Hall
It is possible to rent the Queen's Hall for music recordings
The Queen's Hall is the Royal Danish Library's concert hall. The hall has optimal conditions for chamber music, and is known as one of the best-sounding halls for chamber music in Northern Europe.
The Queen's Hall is acoustically flexible. The acoustics are made by acoustician Anders Chr. Gade, who has also been responsible for acoustics at the Royal Danish Opera and in DR Koncerthuset. It is possible to adjust the reverberation time through adjustments to the wall panels and the wall coverings.
When you record your music in the Queen's Hall, you are guaranteed a recording without disturbances. The Queen's Hall is built as an independent building inside The Black Diamond with its own foundations and walls that do not touch the surrounding building parts, and in this way the construction minimises the risk of vibrations from the traffic on Christians Brygge and any noise from other rooms in the building.
